Denver International Airport
Denver International Airport (DIA) is only 6 miles NW
of the Front Range Airport and the "tents" or "snow capped" terminal is prominently visible
from the Front Range Terminal. Connections take just 20 minutes on
56th Avenue.
Fitzsimons Redevelopment Authority
Colorado's $4.3 billion "square mile of life sciences" has become the launch pad, hub
and focus for the biotechnology industry in the Rocky Mountain Region. The
Colorado Bioscience Park Aurora is the first university affiliated "biopark" to be
developed west of the Mississippi. It is adjacent to the University of Colorado
Health Sciences Center and Hospital Complex, The Children's Hospital, and the
Fitzsimons Commons town center. Together, these developments form a stimulating and
interactive scientific entrepreneurial community and is an easy 30-minute drive from the

Located just 19 miles west of Front Range Airport, the refuge is the largest contiguous
open space in the Denver metropolitan area. The site is currently undergoing a major
environmental restoration program and will become one of the largest urban national wildlife
refuges in the United States.

There are numerous museums in the greater metro area, but a "must see" is the
Wings Over the Rockies Air and Space Museum.
Horizon Uptown
Horizon Uptown, being developed by Lend Lease Communities will be a mixed use development
occupying 500 acres at the southwest corner of Interstate 70 and E-470. It will include an
estimated 4 million square feet of office and flex space, and 1.3 million square feet of
retail space. Office and flex parcels will range two to 80 acres, according to Lend Lease. Their
brokers Cushman & Wakefield will initially target aerospace, defense, health care, education
and professional-services businesses for the space. Nearly 4,000 housing units are planned. The
project is scheduled to break ground in the spring of 2008, and be completed in 2020. Lend Lease
expects Horizon Uptown to employ 11,000 people when it's completed, and is just a 12-minute drive
from the Front Range Airport.
